How to find
union-made products.

A practical starting point for clothing, boots, tools, food and everyday services. Union People Connection is free to use.

Start with the exact item

Save the product name, model or SKU and where it is made. A company can have multiple factories and suppliers, so a listing for one product or workplace should not be treated as proof for an entire brand.

Look for the union label and supporting source

Check the label, packaging or product page. Then read the linked union or manufacturer evidence in our directory. If the source describes a particular factory, assembly plant or bargaining unit, keep your choice within that scope.

Ask before buying when the evidence is unclear

You can ask the seller: “Where is this exact product made? Which union represents the workers at that facility? Can you provide a current source or union-label photo?” For services, ask which location and workers are represented.

Use official buying resources

The AFL-CIO and Union Label and Service Trades Department publish buying resources. Use them alongside the product-specific sources in our listings, and check dates and current details before relying on a claim.
