Help working people
find their connection.

A free resource built by a fourth-generation sheet metal worker from Michigan. Bring union shopping, careers and community connections to your readers or your next meeting.

THE PROJECT AT A GLANCE

Many trades. One place to start.

What it does

Union People Connection helps members, families and supporters discover union-made product information, official union contacts, and career and apprenticeship resources across all 50 states.

Who is behind it

Stuart Ingalls is a fourth-generation sheet metal worker from Michigan and a SMART Local 80 member. His goal is to help working people connect across trades and generations.

Free for everyone

No memberships, listing fees, paid advertising, paid placement or commissions. Visitors follow source links and connect directly with unions, companies and training programs.

For an accurate introduction

This is an independent, developing project. Listing a union or company does not imply its endorsement. Union-made, American-made and Michigan-made are different claims: check the exact item, factory and represented workforce through the linked sources.

Career links are starting points, not hiring offers. Confirm openings, eligibility, deadlines and application details with the relevant program or employer. We welcome corrections and official resources to research.
